Today was the bitch. I was waddling around all day at school like a duck. You see, for the past three days, my soccer coach has made us work our asses off in practice even though it's OFF SEASON. Today we mostly just ran around playing indoor soccer for 45 minutes, which is good considering what we had to do yesterday and the day before. The fire alarm went off during 4th period, while our teacher was handing out the quizzes we were supposed to take, and we were all herded away into a field. Personally, I think we would have been better off back in our classrooms. There were about 500 of us crammed into a grassy space that was located behind a network of portables... Those in themselves were a hazard, because had they caught fire, there was NO going back. Not only that, but the field itself had grass that was a bit high and very flammable. You wanna know the worst part, though? There was a metal fence surrounding us... And if you climbed to the other side of it, you'd be met with a steep fifty foot drop that lead to a very busy highway. Like I said, we would have had more of a chance back in the classroom. In any case, we didn't have to deal with being trapped, because as far as I know, there was no fire to run from. In the end we also didn't have to take that quiz.
